In preparation for your exam:
Make sure you have studied all of the exam objectives found in the BSDA Certification Requirements Document. You will not pass the exam if you are not familiar with this material.
You may also find the Command Reference useful when studying the exam objectives.
At this time, there is not a formal study guide. A wiki has been started which may contain some useful study material.
The Certification page contains the Intended Audience and Domain Objectives for the BSDA exam.
Before leaving to take the exam, make sure you have the following with you:
Your BSDCG ID.
Your government issued photo ID. This ID should match the name you used to register and include a photo. Good examples are a passport or driver's license.
During the exam:
All knapsacks, laptop bags, watches, and cellphones must be left at the front of the room with the proctor. If this is a problem, check these items elsewhere or leave them with a friend before entering the examination room.
You will be asked to read and sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) before taking the exam.
You will be provided with a pencil and will not be allowed to use your own writing implements.
You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
The proctor is trained to watch for signs of cheating. Anyone caught cheating will be asked to leave the exam room and will forfeit their exam and exam payment.
